A trip down memory lane

Who remembers Mr Benn? I found this Mr Benn print by David Mckee (of "Elmer" fame) over at Picture recently and it brought back so many childhood memories. Which costume will Mr Benn be wearing today? On what adventures will the Fez-wearing shopkeeper be sending him? Mr Benn's house on colourful Festive Road...
I loved this programme when I was a child, an all time fave along with Hector's House (la maison de toutou), Andy Pandy, Mary Mungo and Midge and the Herbs. I'm probably giving away my age but who cares when nostalgia's this sweet!

  1. So fabulous :) You're not giving away your age - when we lived in London when Bella was a toddler she loved this too! Ah, re-runs :) K

I recently found some Hector's House original wallpaper on eBay, I don't think the seller knew what it was, but it is beautiful!
